Message (I'm talking about the strip that runs along the top of the rear, above the tail-light cluster - on any Z32 w/o the 90-93 spoiler).

I've seen several in person on various cars, mostly NA's of course, where the whole panel appears to have a red-ish tint to it. However in some pictures I've seen of other cars, like yours, the panel is very black in appearance.

Are there two different versions of this panel? Or do people paint or smoke them somehow to change the appearance? Or do they naturally fade from black to the reddish tint over time?

I'm curious to know as I might convert to the 94+ spoiler some day. Thanks!
